  • The Meadow Pipit  is a scarce winter visitor to Qatar, typically observed from January to March. This small passerine bird is known for its inconspicuous appearance and ground-dwelling habits.

    Habitat & Behavior

    In Qatar, the Meadow Pipit frequents open areas such as farmlands and grasslands. It forages primarily on the ground, feeding on insects and seeds. Unlike some other pipit species, it seldom perches in trees, preferring to remain at ground level.
